Amazing Race
One of the things I have always found stupid about the Amazing Race is that being first doesn't always give you an advantage on the next leg of the race. Yes, you may start before the others but too often all you do is hurry up and wait for an airplane or some building to open. Instead of being ahead of the pack they are right at your heels.

Yes, but the Amazing Race is still awesome. We used it to teach geography to the kids while in Korea.
ReplyDeleteIt is awesome. I just wish being in the lead counted for something. :)
ReplyDeleteMy dad always bitches about this too, but I think they have to do it this way because if one team gets lucky and gets a big lead (like if they take a Fast Forward and finish hours before the next team) then they would just win the whole race because nobody could ever catch them.
ReplyDeleteThat is true ... which means they should do away with the Fast Forward. ;) Or just have it so the 1st team in only gets a 1 hour head start on the others. Something like that.
ReplyDeleteRegardless, I still enjoy watching the show. :)
