IRT: Deadliest Roads

Stig, episode 8 would have brought back many mook memories from Korea.

One of the truckers is taking her truck over a bridge that was only made for one vehicle. A mook sees her truck coming and decides he will head towards her ... on the bridge. Surprise, surprise, his side mirror ends up mangled and of course he is blaming it all on the foreign trucker.

He tried milking money out of her for the damage. She turned it around and said she wanted money for the scratch on her truck. He tried being indignant. She left paying him nothing.

Fucking mooks.

  1. Yeah, it is like that in Korea. I had a few fender-benders there, thanx to the fucking mooks who couldn't drive their way out of a paper bag.
And I came to learn over time that no metter whose fault it really was, it was always my fault. Because of the "blood money" system, I usually had to give the other driver money. My director's husband usually interpreted for me and ended up agreeing with the other party that because I was a foreigner, the accident was my fault.
    Fucking mooks.

  2. I guess that makes South Korea worse than India in that respect. Some of the Indian mooks gave up looking for money and other Indians didn't always agree the foreigner was wrong..

  3. When I first got to Korea a co-worker warned me that if a foreigner is within 10 metres of an accident it is his fault. I thought that was a little strong then learned it wasn't.
