Saudi Arabia has decided to start a fight with Canada over a tweet they don't like.

Saudi Arabia lost their shit over this and started acting out.

A friend of mine made a post asking why we buy oil from Saudi Arabia. I replied to it, something I don't usually do on FB. To paraphrase, I said fuck Saudi Arabia. From what I have read we only get 25% of our oil from them maybe it is time to get that oil from someone else or from within our own country. To hear a pompous ass (the Saudi official who started this) drone on about how great they are to women because they gave them the right to drive a car last year, while women can still be stoned to death for walking around with a non-related male pisses me off. Fuck them.

A misogynistic shit wit I work with was offended by my post. He basically dismissed it by suggesting I smoke weed and don't know the reality of what is going on in Saudi Arabia. He actually claimed there is no proof women get stoned there or that anyone gets crucified. (To be fair, in any instance of crucifixion I have seen they killed the person before crucifying them,  it is a means of leaving them on display.)

It irks me when people try and ignore reality. There are a lot of reports from reliable media outlets about what goes on in Saudi Arabia. The shit wit I work with has his own bias which causes him to blind himself to reality. He rambled on in another post claiming he hates what the Saudis and Trump are doing in the Middle East but can't agree with false claims of stoning and crucifixion without proof. Well, there is proof if you don't have your head rammed up your ass.

This brings me back to my original line of thought .... fuck Saudi Arabia. They are in the process of making sure they spend no money in Canada while they still want our money. Fuck them. We should be finding other places to spend our money. We need to actually start using the oil found in Canada in Canada.

The whole episode also brings up a great question. Why is Saudi Arabia on the UN Human Rights Council let alone heading the council?

Facebook Follies ... Whack Jobs.

There is a twat on Facebook that goes by the name of Kevin Hay. He is a conspiracy theorist that loves promoting fake shit. Normally I don't waste my time considering morons like him but when he tried to present something as fact that could EASILY be proven wrong ... without even citing anything to back up his statement, it irked me.

A little background info on Kevin, from his Facebook page.He says he is a Manager at one company and runs his own cosmetics business too. Other than a lot of posts pushing one conspiracy theory or another, and whining about people that complain about him, not much of substance to his page. Yet he wrote a post about Fidel Castro being Justin Trudeau's real father as if he had access to the information, mainly a suicide note. He cites no sources and takes all credit.

According to Snopes this myth has been around since someone started it 2016.

"On 27 November 2016, two days after Castro’s death was announced, a user on the Donald Trump subreddit /r/The_Donald presented a theory that Justin Trudeau, the son of former prime minister Pierre Trudeau, was actually the love child of Fidel Castro and Margaret Trudeau. "

Snopes then proceeded to prove how wrong this was.

It is bad enough when people perpetuate this shit but to try and make it look like you have some access to the suicide note. What else can you expect from an internet whackjob?

I don't speak idiot.

I went to Sobeys this morning. I knew they would be open even though it was a holiday and took a chance it would be 10. (Yeah I could have looked it up on the internet but sometimes you just have to live dangerously. ;) ) As I was getting ready to turn right into their parking lot a dumbass decided to make an illegal left turn into the parking lot cutting in front of me. If I had been going the speed limit and not slowing to turn I would have t-boned the moron.

She then drove up and parked in the fire lane, in front of the crosswalk, by the main doors. Then she hopped out and ran up to the door.

I parked the car and tried to hold my snark in. Ok, tried to hold my anger in. I walk up and see the door is locked. Moron is still standing there. I whip out the phone and look up the holiday hours. Lo and behold they open noon to 6. It was 10:00 AM.

The dumbass says: "Excuse me do you know what time it is."

I reply: "Sorry I don't speak Idiot."

I wish I had the phone camera on and took a pic of her face. The look was priceless as she tried to process what I said.

She snarled: "Why would you talk to me like that?"

"Because you are moron. You made an illegal left hand turn and almost cut me off. You then parked your fucking car right there, in the fire lane, in front of the fucking crosswalk. Any other questions?"

She stammered a bit and couldn't seem to make a reply.

"Oh. It is 10 AM and they don't open until noon."

I walked away while she stewed. As I got in the car and buckled up I saw her get a shopping cart and stand by the door. The fucking place doesn't open for 2 hours and this loopy cunt is lining up. While her shitmobile is stll parked illegaly.

What the ... Laurierism?!?!?!?

A friend shared something on Facebook from some mook named Rob East. Actually it was something he shared, of something a friend shared, that a friend shared, that Rob East made available. Oh what a tangled web we weave ... but I am getting ahead of myself.

Mr. East posted a photo of a quote to Wilfred Laurier in 2015. All it took was reading the first sentence, Mr. East's opening and only comment, for me to call bullshit on it. He wrote;

"I AM CANADIAN ... maybe we should remember the words of our founding fathers." 

Canadian? Really? Ok, we do have our share of fuckwits in Canada and a lot of morons. He could be Canadian and a prime example of either of those. Or maybe he is an American.

Founding fathers?!?!?!? Really?!?!? THAT sounds like something an American would say. Not a Canadian. In Canada we have The Fathers of Confederation. NOT founding fathers. On top of that, Laurier was NOT one of them.

He then went on to post the statement attributed to Laurier. A statement which had a huge glaring error in it. Can you pick out the error?

Did you see it? In the last half of the statement? Yeah, this one.

"We have room for only one flag, the Canadian flag."

BAARRRRRRRRRRP! Canadian Flag? In 1907? The Canadian flag was NOT adopted until 1965! Until then we flew the Union Jack aka The United Kingdom Union Flag.

The whole statement sounds more like something an American would say. Thanks to the miracle of the internet and a handy site called Snopes it was easy to find out who this statement belongs to. In it's original form and not what Mr. East bastardized it into (or someone else did and Mr. East didn't bother attributing it to them) it was made by ... Theodore Roosevelt. A search on Snopes using Laurier showed that.

A google search then showed that this piece of BS, the quote not Mr. East, has been around the internet since at least 2012. Maybe longer. Which means Mr. East was just passing on the BS without showing where he found it.

Good try Mr. East but I smelled the bullshit from the start.

On Tuesday, Irving Shipyard in Halifax started production of the 1st Offshore Arctic Patrol Ship the Harry DeWolf. The Harperites decided he should share in the news so made up a video of him promoting the program and his party. They shot one of him talking with a bridge in the background. What could the problem be?

The background is the problem. The idiots try to make you think it is Halifax when it is really Johnstown, Ontario. There is a bridge there that looks similar to the Halifax bridges, depending on the view used.

Hell, the guy who likes to wrap himself in the Canadian flag isn't even using a Canadian bridge in the background! It is actually the Ogdensburg–Prescott International Bridge, a U.S.-owned suspension bridge over the St. Lawrence river that connects Ogdensburg, New York to Johnstown, Ontario. Way to go Harper!

What a bunch of fucktards. Sure, it isn't always possible to do your video from where you want but why try faking it?!?!?!? Just do it in front of Parliament. In your office. At the PM's residence.

Yet US magazine features this story in their Celebrity Mom section. I miss the days when people were a celebrity for a reason. Sure you would get those who had their 15 minutes of fame, but the 15 minutes would usually end and they would fade away.

Your Mommy told you that eh? Your Mommy is a fucktard. Which explains why you are one as well. They don't get $5 Million for going to training camp. MOST don't even make that a year.

I actually understand what you are trying to say IF you are genuine. If you aren't, and you are just another attention whore I understand that too.

If you are so against the injustice of athletes making obscene amounts of money stop supporting them. Stop watching sports broadcasts. Stop buying merchandise. Stop reading their books. Stop buying things from their sponsors. And never ever go see them in person.

Then start a lobby group for soldiers to try and get the government to pay them more money. Unfortunately you cannot take any contributions that have anything to do with professional sports in any way. That means no money from the organizations. No face time from the athletes. No accepting anything that will allow your cause to be used by anyone supporting sports.

When you are REALLY doing all that you will be a person standing by their principles and not just another internet fucktard looking for attention. Then I will actually respect what you are doing.

Mook of the Week

Mooks on planes. A bad combination as those on a Sunwing flight to The Dominican found out.

I have heard of some stunningly stupid people doing idiotic things on planes, experienced a few of them myself. This family of smoketards from Nova Scotia raised the bar of mookishness to a new level. They actually lit up cigarettes in their seats while the plane was in the air.

When confronted about it the father got verbally abusive with the flight crew. One of the gems out the father's mouth was;

"You fucking asshole, I just pissed all over the floor."

That is so amazingly fucktardic I can't think of any other words to describe it. It blows my story of the Korean moron and his cell phone out of the water.

Thanks to these mooks the flight had to divert to Bermuda. People missed connecting flights, cruises, part of their vacation. Sunwing had to put everyone up in a hotel for the night. At least Sunwing is going to sue these morons, for around $50,00. Hopefully they get a lot more.

This trio is a shining example of what a mook is and how they behave.

The only problem with it is ... it misrepresenting thing. First, the players didn't go on strike. They were locked out. There is a difference. Then you have the photo of the hockey player the OP used. It isn't even of a "striking" player crying because he is locked out. It is of Todd Bertuzzi attempting to show remorse for his goon like behavours a few years back when he destroyed Steve Moore Oh yeah, and in Canada at least, a soldier makes more than $20,000 a year A private starts at around $29,000 a year. (Yes, it doesn't compare to hockey players but it is still a misrepresentation in the post.)


If you want to compare their salaries with soldiers and show they are crybabies fine. But at least be truthful. It should be easy to find recent pics that would make the players AND NHL look unsympathetic. It isn't that hard to make an argument about how pro sports players are over paid, let alone the money the leagues make. It isn't hard to find out how much a soldier actually makes. As BB says below, do your homework. A little research goes a long way and helps your credibility.

Shit Morons Say ... about rape victims.

“Stay alert, walk tall, carry mace, take self-defence classes & don’t dress like a whore.” 

These insensitive and the last part moronic, words of wisdom were uttered by Krista Ford in a tweet. (It really seems fitting in her case that someone who uses twitter is called a twit.) Krista is the niece of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. But that isn't the cunning stunts only claim to fame. She was also a member of the Toronto team in the Lingerie Football League. Not much of a claim to fame, eh?

Krista's tweet was in response to a news conference Toronto Police held Wednesday about six recent sexual assaults in the west end. In those cases six young women were all attacked from behind as they walked at night. She followed the tweet up with the hash tags  #DontBeAVictim and #StreetSmart. What a fucktard.

 One of the rape victims decided to speak out after Ford made her tweeted. She posted it on Facebook and Twitter and it went viral from there.

Cause such alarm? How could you possibly cause alarm? All you did was tell rapists that their victims are nothing but whores. Fucktard.

How about you are sorry that your comment was so fucktardic and insensitive? Of course not, that would be taking responsibility. Instead she apologizes IF her comments caused any alarm. Her Uncle claims it was a mistake. Uncle Bobby went on to say;

“It’s a mistake she made. She regrets it, she apologizes for it. She’s very young, right, so we were all young and we all did things we regret when we were younger. “She apologizes and we have to move on now.”

Todd Akin isn't some neophyte to the political arena. He served as a Congressman since 2001. Now he is running for the Senate for the Republican party. What makes his comments even stupider is that he actually sat on the Congressional Science, Space, and Technology Committee. Seriously?!?!? Someone with this little a lack of knowledge of science sat on that committee?

Just to prove that idiocy like this is not an America only thing, a Dutch candidate, Kees van der Staaij, the leader of a Christian Fundamentalist party, spoke out agreeing with Akin. Maybe it is a Christian Fundamentalist thing?

Is it really so hard to listen to what someone says?

I got life insurance when I was in my mid-20's. My father died without any and it left Mom in a tight spot. Not an impossible one, but a tight one. I never wanted to make that mistake.

Our neighbour across the street, Gary, worked for Mutual. He set me up with a policy that was perfect for me. It cost about $25 a month and gave $50,000 in coverage. Mutual ended up merging with Sun. I believe it is now Sun-Life.  The policy left my thoughts, much as the monthly payment left my account.

Gary ended up leaving Sun-Life and someone else took over my account. He came to me around the 5th year of the policy and talked about upgrading it. At the time I thought I knew a hell of a lot more than I actually did and I let him talk me into changing the policy. It was supposed to still allow for upgrades every so many years (5  I believe) to increase coverage. It was supposed to cost the same amount Being full of my own youth I jumped at it.

Up comes the time for upgrading and my agent dutifully showed up for a visit. It was a new agent new, SS. I decided to take advantage of the option and increase my benefit to $100,000. It would mean increasing my payment to $40 which I had no problem with. My disillusionment began after getting my paperwork from them in the mail.

SS had failed to properly explain some things. Like the fact it wasn't a simple Life Insurance policy. My payment would have to increase over time. He also failed to tell me they would take $600 out of my built up money to pay administrative fees for the upgrade. God knows it was so expensive to get someone to type a few keys and put it through.

My unhappiness with the policy continued but then I moved to South Korea. The policy was the furthest thing from my mind. A few times I received email from SS about this or that. A few times I emailed him questions but never received answers.

When I was home in  2005 he came to see me. He was pushing another upgrade to the policy. I wasn't interested. He told me that I would have to start increasing my payment or it would start eating into my "savings". That didn't sounds anything like my original policy. What savings? Instead of just increasing my coverage my policy had been changed to a whole life kind of policy. Nice but NOT what I wanted. In the end I agreed to up my payment and decide what I wanted to do later. It was easier to push it off and go back to Korea. So I gave him the voided check and authorized increasing the payment to $60.

I went back to Korea expecting to pay more and worry about everything when I came home. SS evidently never processed the paperwork because the extra money wasn't taken out. Which meant i could go back to not giving a shit about it until I moved back home.

From about 2008 on I got letters from Sun-Life a couple of times a year saying I had to increase my payment or it would start eating into my money. Since I wasn't actually in Canada I didn't get the letters. Having given SS my mailing address in South Korea evidently meant nothing. Nor did email requests asking about this.

I met with SS about 3-4 months after returning to Canada in 2010. He was once again pushing an increase to my coverage. Barring that he was pushing me to buy a couple of $50,000 policies to "build up my coverage in case of death". At that time I wasn't working and still didn't know what would be happening. Would I return to South Korea or not? He also pushed for an increase in my payment but gave vague answers when pushed about it.

I haven't heard from SS since 2010. Today I heard from his office. I don't know if it was another "dealer" or a secretary. Nor do I care. She called on his behalf to see how I was doing and set up an appointment. I told her I was glad to hear from them because, now that I have some time off, I was planning on cancelling my coverage. That seemed to surprise her.

So, I told her some of the whys and wherefores. The main one being, when my original policy was started it was supposed to be around $20. I agreed to $40. I agreed to $60 but only $40 is being taken. Yet I keep getting these letters, which have never been fully addressed by SS, saying I now need to pay around $105.

She started saying "But I see here you are only paying $40 a month."

I reply "Yes, but for the last few years I have been getting letters saying I need to increase my payment to $105."

"You are only paying $40 a month now." She parroted.

"Yes, but I keep getting these letters saying I should be paying $105."

"Only $40 is coming out a month."

At that point the snark came out. "Are you listening to what I am saying? I KNOW $40 is coming out. It was supposed to be $60 as of 2005. I keep getting letters saying it should be $105."

She was silent for a minute and then made the mistake of repeating herself. "You are only paying ...."

I was civil until she kept repeating herself about the monthly payment. The latest comment I saw just left me shaking my head at the stupidity of the TrUcktard. His comment was two sentences. One calling me a fat fuck. The second saying it is obvious I am wrong. Obvious because I am fat? Or a lot fatter in the video he was "commenting" on? It is as if they believe that calling me fat negates everything I said. It must be interesting in their world. Scary too.

Using myself as an example, if someone doesn't care enough and allows themself to become morbidly obese why would anything some anonymous internet tough guy say matters? It wouldn't. People in their life that they actually care about have probably said stuff about their weight. If that doesn't get through or bother them the TrUcktards comments would mean next to nothing. Or even less. Internet tough guys, anonymously brave. In real life they usually keep their mouth shut or just mutter under their breath because they don't have the cajones to speak up. Unless drunk.

The latest twat reminds me of a drunken moron I had to deal with at work. We had closed for the night. About 10 minutes after he started pounding on the door and shouting that he needed in. He demanded to use the phone.

I told him "Sorry. We are closed."

"I need to use your fucking phone. Let me in!"

Once again "Sorry we are closed."

He demanded to be let in again to use the phone. I knew he probably wanted to call a taxi, it was a cold winter night. Just as I was about to say "Want me to call a cab for you?" the asshat shouted:

My answer was quick and to the point. "No, I used to be fatter."

That seemed to deflate the idiot. He got a stunned look on his face. It was the last thing he expected to hear. After a few seconds of silence he started in again. "Have you always been that fat and stupid?"

"Buddy, I am not the one who left without calling a cab. And I am not the one who decided to be insulting when I should have been polite. Who's stupid?"

This just egged him on. Yes, I was kind of bored waiting for the all clear call and he was providing some entertainment much like his cousin the internet asshole. My reply spurred him on to more vitriol and starting to make threats of physical violence. My laughing at his threats didn't calm him down either.

I got the all clear call and said "Thanks for the laughs. I have to go. Enjoy the cold."

He wailed "Call me a cab!!!!"

I replied with a smirk "You are a cab." and walked away.

So I am at Staples to get some ink and paper for the printer. There is one woman ahead of me. As she puts her credit card in to have the chip read she whips out her phone and starts reading and answering a text. Her transaction is complete and she is still typing away on her phone. The clerk removes her card from the machine and sets her stuff down in front of her and she is still on her phone. The clerk has to take my stuff from me because there is no space on the counter because this textard is STILL texting away on her phone. My stuff is rung through and the clerk can't set it down because this bimbo is STILL on her phone.

Finally I have enough and say "Do you mind doing that elsewhere? I would like to [pay for my stuff and leave."

The woman barely looks up, grabs her stuff, and leaves in a huff still texting away. What a fucktard.

A teen, Trayvon Martin, was murdered in Florida last month and his killer claims self defence. Under a bizarre Florida law that was put into place by Jeb Bush you are allowed to use deadly force if you feel threatened.

The murderer, George Zimmerman, was "on patrol" for a neighbourhood watch in the area. According to what he told the police he saw someone acting suspicious and followed him. Even after the cops told him not to.

What made Trayvon suspicious? He was black.

Because of the bizarre law Zimmerman was NOT charged with anything by the police. He murdered a kid and nothing was being done. Now, due to public pressure, the FBI and a Federal prosecutor are looking into charges. It is disgusting that it took public outrage to get something done.

No wonder Florida has its own classification on FARK. Dumbass. Weird. Silly. Florida.

Now you have NATO trying to apologize for an "error" that led to copies of the Koran being discarded and "possibly" burned in Afghanistan. An "error"? Is that like being a little pregnant? What kind of a monumental fucktard in charge could let something like that happen? Not surprisingly, the Afghans have been rioting and people have died.

One of the top stories right now is about the death of a man in Quebec. He was "couch surfing". My reaction was ... what the hell is couch surfing?

These brain trusts hook a couch up to their vehicle and pull it down the road. The stupider of the group will "surf" on it. I suppose it is the next illogical step for the morons who were into planking.

The fucktards in the article ended up causing an accident. A driver in the other lane ended up hitting the couch. Now one of the fucktards is dead. The fucktard who was driving is now being charged with hit and run causing death, dangerous driving, and criminal negligence causing death. He had fled the scene.

The person I feel sorry for is the driving of the car that ended up hitting the couch. He will have to live his life dealing with what happened, even though it was the stupidity of the morons who caused it all.

I hope the idiot who was driving gets the maximum penalty.
