What the ... really Joe?

NOW Joe Rogan is talking about Due Process. Talking about how lumping people into groups is bad. Holy shit Joe, this IS HAPPENING and people have been talking about it while you have been coddling Trumps ball sack. You are part of the problem Joe.

You voted for Trump and encouraged him even though if you had a bit of common sense you would seen where he was headed. You gave air time, and coddled the sacks, of him, his VP, Elon, and the Oligarchs, even though you SHOULD have been able to see where they were headed. Where was Jamie?

You used to be against the assholes like Trump, Vance, Musk and all their ilk. I don't know what happened to you, but damn you sold out. Did covid really break your brain?

Trump and his regime have been trampling on due process since he was elected. Yet you  just started noticing it? They have trampled on peoples rights and sent them to fucking concentration camps in El Salvador. And you JUST started noticing it? Innocent people are in fucking concentrations camps and Trump and his cronies are LYING about it and you JUST started to notice? Seriously? Fuck you Joe.

Part of me hopes this is a return of the Old Joe. However, based on who he has become I have my doubts. It seems more like a ploy to try and get his audience back since he has lost his Number 1 Podcast status. His railing against the Trump government over Due Process seems a tad contrived considering things he said since the deportation's and sending people to a concentration camp started. Rogan helped Trump get elected. He could pick up his fucking phone and actually talk to Donald. Like I said, his railing against this now seems contrived.

I used to LOVE Joe Rogan's podcasts. He introduced me to comedians, writers, and artists I would never had heard of. Since covid he has become a bizarre, bitter, asshole. One that propagates the bizarre despite reality. I still watch some of his old podcasts because they were good and informative. Not the batshit he has promoted the last few years.

I guess what I am saying is ... Joe, you disappoint me and have for a while. I used to expect better from you. I don't anymore. It is hard to say if I ever will.

What the ... delusion?!?!?!?

Sweet Home Alberta, Howard Lutnick is either willfully ignorant or fucking delusional. In Donald's cabinet meeting Lutnick was stroking Donald's ... ego ... in a delusional spiel. He went on about how the USA will be respected after April 2nd, Liberation Day.  The US economy will be saved by the tariffs, the US will be draped in glory, and everyone will respect them. All thanks to The Dear Leader, Herr Donald.  Talk about delusions of glory.

The USA is no longer the leader of the Free World.

The USA is no longer respected in the world.

The USA is no longer trusted in the world.

The Cheeto in Chief has made sure of that.

Strangely enough, it gives me no pleasure to say any of that. Regardless of differences, the USA was a good ally to Canada. Now it is a threat to Canada. Expect Canadians to act accordingly. Oh, and by the way, for the fools who fail to see this, it isn't just about the tariffs. Threatening to annex a country tends to piss people off. Threatening it to several countries and you start pissing a LOT of countries off.

Elbows up!

What the ... willfulness?!?!?

I recently decided to prune my friend list on Facebook and dumped a couple of "friends" I worked with. As with Rogan, I think covid broke them. They became far right conspiracy theorists. I would usually just scroll past their stupider posts. The final straw was basically a rage bait post about the Trudeau Government sending aid to Ukraine.

After Donald tried to humiliate Zelensky in the oval office, Trudeau pledged more support to Ukraine. Part of that support was $5 Billion taken from Soviet, oops I mean Russian funds that were seized. One of my friends seized on that $5 BN figure and mixed with with their hatred for anything Trudeau says or does, and made a post about how Trudeau was giving Ukraine $5 BN of OUR money. As usual I just scrolled past it.

Then I saw another friend, a more rational one, who questioned the source of the money. She was told to do her research and was subjected to the usual attacks that the crazies do. So, she did look it up, found out the real source of the $5 BN and posted that. She was then subjected to more attacks, even personal ones, by the Batshit Brigade. Her friend then unfriended her, blocked her, and removed her posts. That was it for me.

I don't care if we have different views. I am not a Trudeau fan myself. God knows he has done enough things to make people dislike him. The Batshit Brigade however isn't just ignorant of facts. They are willfully ignorant. As long as it supports their narrative they don't care if they distort things or tell out right lies. God forbid you point it out to them. You are then "the enemy". They sound like Donald.

Those living in fantasy lands do not like it when you prove their reality is wrong. It seems simple to just say "I think covid broke them" but it feels like that is what happened. As with the decline of Joe Rogan since covid hit, I have seen it with these "friends". Before covid they might have had a slight conspiratorial bend but they were mainly living in reality. During and after covid they started drinking the anti-vaxxer kool aid and then dove deep into the batshit.

In the end, I don't need their negativity or stupidity in my life. There comes a time when you can't just scroll past the BS. If you want to ignore reality go for it. Just know that it moves you from being a person expressing their views to a liar, willfully spreading lies. You have joined the Batshit Brigade. I actually feel sorry for my former friends. It is a sad way to live as their bitterness and anger at ... perceived slights? real slights? conspiracy theory of the day? ... moves them to live outside of reality.

What the ... seriously?!?!?!?

A friend asked we what I thought about the Remembrance Day controversy the Chronicly Horrible, I mean the Chronicle Herald, was going on about. Not having paid attention to the news I had no idea what he was talking about.

It turns out that during the Remembrance Day ceremonies taking place the Halifax Regional Police deployed armed members. My first thought was ... great. They made sure that if anything happened the right people were there to respond. What controversy?

Well, having armed police ready for anything has angered some people. What the fuck?!?!? Seriously?

“If ever there is a day to put the guns and these costumes away and say we are not afraid, this is it,” John Wesley Chisholm posted on Facebook, along with a photo of two officers in tactical gear.

Others commented on Twitter, asking the force why the more imposing gear was necessary during a public event and on a day for honouring veterans and those killed in combat.

I guess I just had a nightmare last year when a gunman murdered Nathan Cirillo and shot up Parliament. If that had happened no reasonable person would wonder why the HRP had officers ready for anything on Remembrance Day. Oh wait it did happen. And they were ready. Lest We Forget.

The main mook behind the complaints seems to be Stoo Metz.

Stoo Metz posted, “Seeing guns like this in the hands of @HfxRegPolice scares me more then the terrorists. #Halifax”

“It doesn’t make me feel safe,” Metz, a Halifax photographer, tells Yahoo Canada News. “It makes me worried we have less and less freedom because the guards now have bigger guns.“

What worries me is that the media panders to assholes like Metz, who is probably just looking to make a name for himself and sell more photos.

Seeing guns in the hands of the police scares you more than terrorists? Fuck off cunt.

Did the "guards" inconvenience you in any way? No.

Did they stop you from taking photos to sell?  No.

Did they infinge on your freedoms? No.

They were there to make sure no piece of shit hurt anyone.

Did you thank them? No. Instead you vilified them.

Fuck you Stoo Metz and all the assholes who posted shit in support of you.

Fucktards.

Shit People say ... when they think they are important.

Stop the presses!!! Stop the presses!!!! Bristol Palin announced to the world on her blog that she is pregnant ... again. And I really don't give a fuck. Ok, a little fuck (of annoyance)  after reading the following,

"I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect Tripp's and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."

Bristol if you didn't want lectures or sympathy you wouldn't have said anything. All this blog post does is attract attention. Which is probably her real goal. When was the last time the media paid attention to her?

Her "announcement" reminds me of people who make a huge scene leaving Facebook, You Tube, or other Social Media. They make a huge scene with their good bye, suck in all the sympathy, and thrive on the negative as it gives credence to their "problems" that are making them leave. And of course they either only leave for a short time or never leave.

And what exactly is Bristol Palin famous for again? Oh yeah, like the Kardashians, NOTHING. She hasn't done anything of note. She hasn't achieved anything of note. She rode on the coat tails of her Mother's "celebrity" status, another media whore.

Yet US magazine features this story in their Celebrity Mom section. I miss the days when people were a celebrity for a reason. Sure you would get those who had their 15 minutes of fame, but the 15 minutes would usually end and they would fade away.

Oh yeah, and a special FUCK YOU to Facebook for forcing me to see trending shite like this.

Shit People Say ... when lying about calling.

"I called you several times and got no answer!"

Why the fuck someone would believe they could get away with this lie is beyond me. Sure in the days before caller ID you could. But now just about everyone has caller ID. Hell most people have cell phones and are always near them.

Two of my sisters LOVE using this whopper. Even though they KNOW all their siblings have caller ID.

"I tried calling you 5 times last week."

"Really? According to caller ID you never called last week."

Silence ... "oh" ... move on to next lie.

Fucktards.

Shit People Say ... that makes you laugh.

I worked Good Friday. We are closed, but some people have to be there just in case. But I digress.

A co-worker and I decided to order pizza for supper. When it arrived I went out front to get it. As I was talking with the delivery driver someone drove up. He rolled down his window and shouted "So, you are open?"

Before I could say anything the pizza delivery guy snarled. "They are closed. It is Good Friday, you dumb bastard!"

I was gobsmacked. I wanted to laugh but knew I shouldn't. I bit my lip. The mook rolled up his window and drove off. The delivery guy gave me a damn good pizza, and a chuckle.

What the ... pretentious prattling?!?!?

Looking around the web for Cheese Curds Burgers menu I came across a few review sites. I had to shake my head at how pretentious some of those criticizing the restaurant were.

One of the most common retorts from these people was along this line;

"In the end we realized that we could do the same thing at home, only better and probably in the same 30 minutes it took us to work through the line."

Then stay the fuck home. These people remind me of the foodie wannabe's that flock to Ramsay's restaurant when he does the F Word. You have dishes that Ramsay feels are spot on yet these foodtards find fault with them. When they have Ramsay's experience I will pay attention to what they have to say. Until then ... meh.

Then you had those who would start off with a comment like this;

"Honestly, I so wanted to like this place!!! "

With all due respect, I don't believe you. Mainly because you are using code language. It is like using the term "With all due respect ..." It usually really means the speaker has no respect for you. Using it is a way of trying to make yourself look good while slagging someone off.

I understand people not liking something and wanting to complain about it. Why do you think I started to blog? :) But when it is that pretentious it just reinforces my faith in the stupidity of people. And entertains me.

Shit People Say ... when giving birth.

"I am having a transaction!"

One of my Niece's gave birth the other day and said that gem while going through the pains of childbirth. In her pain addled state she went with transaction instead of contraction. I suppose knowing she is a Banker makes it funnier. ;)

Shit People Say ... About Eating.

"If I only ate when I felt hungry I would never eat."

I was talking with a couple of friends over coffee a few years back when the subject of eating came up. (Stig may have been there.) I had mentioned that I forgot to have breakfast so I was hungry. Hilda asked why I didn't eat breakfast. My reply was that if I am not hungry I don't usually think of eating. To which she made the above comment.

It just struck me as something strange to say. Especially coming from someone who was ... portly herself.

Shit Morons Say ... about changing.

My father and grandfather were traditionalists. I am not like them and I am not going to change.

This was said by the ex-Minister of my Mother's church in his final sermon. Basically, in the years he has had the church, 3/4 of the congregation has left because of what he is like. It is either his way or the highway. It has gotten to the point where the church can't even afford his pay.

Here are some of his high points;

Used money slated for the church youth group to buy himself a new computer and printer.

When a parishioner's grand daughter died he called her on the phone because he didn't want to visit her in person on the weekend.

When another parishioner had a death in the family he was too busy to be there for them.

He told many parishioners that being a Minister is just a job. When he leaves the church he is off duty. In fact he was never really on duty.

So in his final sermon, poorly attended mainly by the baglickers and asskissers who brown nosed during his whole tenure, he railed against those who didn't like him. He seemed to think that by saying he was non-traditional and all but calling the "nay sayers" idiots he excused himself.

Sorry douchebag, you took a church that had no financial trouble and money in the bank and almost destroyed it. It had nothing to do with being a non-traditionalist and everything to do with a person who never should have been a Minister.

Instead of firing him with cause, he is a fucking moron, they let him go for financial reasons. I am not big on religion but this guy is one of the worst excuses for a Minister I have ever seen and yet another asshole that never takes responsibility.

Shit People Say ... that I don't care about.

Sent from my BlackBerry device on the Rogers Wireless Network

That was the last line of an email sent to me from a friend. Maybe I woke up cranky. Maybe it is just because I haven't finished my 1st cup of coffee. Regardless, who the fuck cares where an email was sent from and over what network?

Ok, if he went on a surprise vacation to an exotic locale that might be different. If it was 'Sent from my coconut phone atop an elephant in Thalaind." THEN it might be interesting to inform people about.

I know people often have stupid tag lines, or sig files, or whatever they call them now. It just seems like the height of stupidity to have to announce how you sent an email and the service provider you use. Or pretentious. Who the fuck cares?

Should I end every email with "Sent from my Laptop on the Eastlink Network." with every email? Of course not! It would be stupid. So now, every email I get from this friend, will tell me the same stupid turd of information. And I still won't care.
